As felt is sold in all different shapes and sizes, different widths per metre and squares, I’ve listed the squares I used. If you are buying by the metre then the equivalent amount in one piece will be fine.
2 x 18” pieces of felt for background wool and synthetic mix works well, moss green.
Small Square of dark green felt for leaves
2x 12” squares of dark brown felt
1 x12” square of tangerine/ orange felt
3 x 12” square yellow felt
½ metre medium brown ric rac
Small handful toy stuffing,
Brown, green and yellow thread for sewing
Not needed on the day: cushion pad and green zip 18”. We will discuss adding the back in class and you will have all the instructions on how to finish it at home.
Basic sewing Kit
Rotary cutter and ruler
Sewing machine & manual, sharp needle and a spare!
Pencil or marking pen or chalk
Glue pen or stick optional
Don’t forget your glasses if you need them I often do!!!

PS: Please note our members of staff are no longer allowed to carry heavy bags or sewing machines upstairs to the classroom. We kindly ask you to take your own equipment upstairs, so please make sure that you only bring items that you can carry to our 1st floor room.If your sewing machine is too heavy for you to take upstairs, we strongly recommend hiring one of ours. The cost of this for the day is £4.00.We do thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
