Teddy Bear Workshop with Carolyn Forster

Teddy Bear Workshop

Have a fun day creating these lovable bears. Using a basic pattern you can give them each their own personality. (NB these bears are not suitable for small children due to the nature of the small parts)

Ideas for your bear:

  • Use up left over scraps that you piece together to make them large enough to cut out the relevant pattern piece.*Do this before you come to maximize bear making time on the day.
  • Use old patchwork blocks that were discarded form a quilt.
  • Use cheater cloth with the patchwork already printed on!
  • Choose one fabric only for a more sophisticated bear!
  • Use flannel fabric for a cosy bear
  • Use old children’s clothing for a memory bear
  • Use felt or velvet for the foot pads and inner ears
