I had said in a testimonial below, that Heaven could not be better, but Isa and Philippa Naylor have both proved me wrong!     

Another wonderful class on Tuesday at The Angel,  with the oh so very, very  clever, artistic, creative, witty and of course helpful, enlightening  and patient Philippa Naylor,  all organised with a French flair and a thorough attention to every detail , thus ensuring all 20+ students had a wonderful day,  (we even had CHOCOLATES with our teas, coffees and biscuits  –  a quilt class in Heaven  oh yes!!)  

 I arrived home exhausted and satisfied (no girls,  I did not meet George Clooney on the A3 going home) the class was really exceptional !

Thank you both for another wonderful day - can’t wait for the Encore in September!!

This is a very belated thank you for the great handquilting day on Saturday 16th April.  Both Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought Jennifer was an excellent tutor and of course her sense of humour was great.
 
A huge success and I hope she will be back running some more classes - please do let me know as we would be very interested.

               Your parcel arrived today Monday afternoon 21/2/2011. It was in perfect condition wrapped beautifully - I loved all the little post-it notes from Katie I think. I love everything you have sent. The materials are just gorgeous I am sooo happy with them. The book I have not had a really good look at yet but loved the index and cover, the handles will be great for a summer handbag. Thank you very much for your great service.

!The Angel   - Had I died and gone to Heaven.....or was I at The Angel Pub, having the time of my life with a glass of rosé in hand at lunchtime?  Could life get any better...?

2 days absorbing all Philippa Naylor could cram in, from 10 and 4 was just unadulterated Bliss!  The hours flew by, with all of us wanting MORE (but also wanting to dash home and ‘perfect piece’ that block and then cover with free motion feathers or leaves......!   Philippa’s enthusiasm and Isa’s usual meticulous attention to detail, ensured that we all got the absolute most out of the classes. Thank you both once again – Just HEAVEN !!"

"Creative Quilting...... what a wonderful place to visit.  My favourite shop - as soon as you enter you feel as though you are entering someone's home with all the quirky nooks and crannies.  I love it.  I am never sure what I am going to find and sometimes I have to limit myself to a set time to stay and even while I am paying my eyes are still darting over all the goodies that are available.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful like one big happy family, but then they are quilters and I have found that quilters are always very friendly people.  Nothing is too much trouble and if they say they will find something out for you they will.  If you order something over the phone you know that it will be there waiting for you when you visit or it will be posted directly to you.
So, not only do I have to limit my time in the shop, but I also have to limit my visits, but I know that when I do go, I am going to come home laden with a big parcel with loads of things to make and sew and a warm feeling inside.  A visit there is a happy day!"
