Some lovely quilts with a very homely feel to them. If you decide to make the one on page 31, I would strongly recommend using the Yoyo makers!!

Nice and colourful projects which should appeal to the younger generations.

If you want to introduce a youngster to sewing, this book is perfect!! Some of the projects are small and can be achieved in less than 1 day.

It really doesn't do justice to the content of the book. The quilts are stunning and yet made from 2 easy-to-make blocks. Very clever! Also includes 10 recipes.

Amy Butler is turning into a phenomenon in the US and it's spreading!! This new book has a nice, fresh layout, with spiro-binding to open it flat. Many projects for the whole house. Very clear step by step instructions (see below)

There are some lovely projects in this book, especially the bird houses. By using very modern and bright fabrics with traditional designs, Cynthia has come up with very happy quilts!

Not brand new but it had been out of stock for quite some time so I wanted to give it another mention.

It does what it says on cover!

This is the "wow" book of the month! To me it is as exciting as Ricky Tim's Convergence Quilts was. The quilt gallery is amazing. Flick through the pages next time you come to the shop and let me know what you think!!
