Jelly Jazz by Monkey Buttons
This lap quilt was made using a Moda “Jelly Roll” & very little else. (Jelly Rolls are 2 ½” x 44” strips of co-ordinating fabric from a range of fabric). Jelly Jazz comprises a variety of blocks that use 2 ½” units. The blocks are all very simple so enabling you to make it very quickly & easily from any fabric – not just Jelly Rolls.
Great for beginners.
- 1 x Jelly Roll containing 40no. 2 ½” by 44" strips (depending on your jelly roll and colour placement, you may need 2-3 additional strips - the cover quilt used a few extra red strips in addition to a Prairie Paisley Moda Jelly Roll).
- Used a wide variety of co-ordinating scraps
- ⅔ m for inner border & binding
- 2.5m backing
- 1.25 m wadding
Finished size 44” x 60” but easy to enlarge.
