This is the first of eight hand appliqué designs based on flora. You will learn how to appliqué sheer fabric to a silk background and cutline with metal threads. You will also be using couching, backstitch and split stitch. A kit* will be supplied on the day which will have everything you need to complete the project.
You will be working with a free-standing embroidery hoop which will be provided on the day so you will need to bring an 8” OR 10” embroidery hoop with you to transfer your project into at the end of the day.
*The kit will cost £10.00, which needs to be given to tutor on the day.
