Fleetwood Tote Bag Pattern
The Fleetwood Tote is a quilted bag pattern that has all the features you would want in tote bag pattern: a zippered top closure, pockets inside and out (one zippered pocket on the outside and slip pockets on the inside and outside), no bias binding, and completely finished (bound) edges. The pattern includes full colour, step-by-step graphics walking you through every step of creating your tote. Although none of the steps are particularly difficult, the pattern is quite involved and is geared toward the intermediate or advanced sewer. The pattern is in English and all measurements are given in inches. The pattern is cut using a rotary cutter and ruler with the dimensions given, there are no printed templates involved.
The Fleetwood Tote pattern is a very involved project and includes many different sewing skills including: basting, quilting, cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler, making handles, installing zippers using two different methods, making and installing binding, and creating boxy corners.
